Meermanno Booklights are made out of old catalogues which were not sold in the museum shop. Now the books are sold in the shop in their new appearance, as a light. The pages of the old books are wrinkled and crunched, light is added to give a warm effect.

BNO organises seminars, master classes and events for designers. Through diverse publications it probes and discusses important social trends and developments in design. The website serves as a guide and source of information, and as a shared platform for designers, agencies and clients. BNO furthermore publishes the quarterly journal Dutch Designers Magazine Dude (before called Vormberichten), devoted to exploring design practices from a wide variety of perspectives.
